Developing learning outcomes – determining what you want students to know, value, or do at the end of your course – is an important part of any teaching. It is particularly important online, where you face many more choices about how to present content and organize learning. Good learning outcomes should clearly state what learning you want to occur, and should be measurable and achievable.
